21st April 2014 :

• Went to UBD to settle DY AUN Application
• Went to recce at Royal Regalia again

22nd April 2014 :

• Stayed at the office. Updated log book

23rd April 2014 :

• Stayed at the office. Settled vouchers.

24th April 2014 :

• Shooting at Tutong. Continuation from episode 2: Tutong Pride and also shooting for episode 3: Thursday Morning in Tutong. Went to Pasarneka Serbaguna & Tamu Tutong complex as well as Kg Penanjong at Cg Haji Ramlee (guest for ep 2 & 3) to do our shooting.

26th April 2014 :

• Stayed at the office, settled more vouchers and log book. Attended a briefing at UBD for SAP/SEP/Internship students for next semester.

WEEK 13

14th April 2014 :

• Given a day off after 3 days off location in Temburong

15th April 2014 :

• Meeting with our coordinator Aunty Hjh Rodziah to properly schedule dates to book the crews for next shooting.
• Met with Panji (video editor) to update him on next plans on where to shoot

16th April 2014 :

• Updated vouchers.

17th April 2014 :

• Stayed at the office. Updated log book. Supposed to go to Tutong for a shooting but the camera crew from K-Mas production had to cover for another event.

19th April 2014 :

• Went to recce at the Royal Regalia for episode 11 

20th April 2014 :

• Shooting for episode 6: Paradise in Serasa at Pantai Serasa, Muara

Comments: There was again a delay in trying to cover two episodes in Tutong, as the camera crew weren't available. We had to push and confirm the next Thursday to make sure they were available. In the end, constant updates and communication is a must but no matter how early one plans to get an episode done, there are always things that get in the way like making sure if the crew are available and the 'tetamu undangan' or guest is also available on the day a shooting is planned to be held.

WEEK 12

7th April 2014 :

• Stayed at the office the whole day. Did researching & contacting

8th April 2014 :

• Did "Kertas Kerja" to update Puan Zalinar & those in the Community Unit regarding our program flow
• Drafted estimated dates for next shootings

9th April 2014 :

• Updated, printed and emailed script for shooting at Tamu Tutong

10th April 2014 :

• Supposedly shooting at Tutong but delayed due to unforeseen circumstances
• Stayed at the office and has a discussion regarding our plans to shoot in Temburong for Temburong episodes

11th April 2014 :

• Arrived at meeting point by 7. 20 a.m
• Arrived at Temburong at 9.30 a.m
• Shooting at Kg Selayang for udang galah and on boat scene

12th April 2014 :

• Shooting for nasi udang galah, at Temburong river, and recce at OBBD & gravel site

13th April 2014 :

• Shooting at Brunei Malaysia friendship bridge at Sg Pendaruan
• Shooting at OBBD
• Shooting at Tamu Muhibah
• Shooting for closing 
• Returned back to BSB

Comments: Trying to get to all of the locations in such a restricted amount of time was very tiring but I guess that's just how shootings/filming work. On the last day, we started shooting at half past 8 in the morning, rested for lunch and tried to finish everything before the 3 p.m boat ride we had to board on to get back to Brunei Muara from Temburong.

Also, I learned that expecting delays or shooting for the next recording can be put on hold because things will never always go as planned. I am only an intern and have zero to little experience in this field, but as of now, I understand that we can only plans and schedule things but changes is expected.

WEEK 11

31st March 2014 :

3rd April 2014 : 

• Insert for Thursdays in Tutong episode while also interviewing visitors at Pasarneka Serbaguna & Tamu Tutong, Kg Serambangun

5th April 2014 : 

• Morning - just stayed in the office
• Afternoon - Rehearsal for Hari Ini Hari Raya program with the Remaja dan Kanak kana Unit
• Night - Shooting for Hari Ini Hari Raya

WEEK 10

• Appointment at RIPAS in the morning

• Updated and script for upcoming episode on Tutong Pride: Bebasuh Kaki

• Stayed at office, revised and printed script

• Updated vouchers for interviewers

• Recce at Temburong - meeting with the Head village of Kg Amo

• Discussed plans for Temburong

17th March 2014 :

• Stayed at the office RTB Sg Akar and did script

19th March 2014 : 

• Stayed at the office RTB SG Akar to update script

20th March 2014 :

• Office in the morning, made phone calls to people to be interviewed and also to those in charge for Tamu Tutong episode 

22nd March 2014 :

• Faxing at RTB Bandar for Majlis Mesyuarat Negara 

WEEK 8

10th March 2014 :

• Transcribing for the Majlis Mesyuarat Negara ke-10 or LegCo - live
• Had to transcribe from 10 a.m til 12. 30 p. m - 2 pm til 4.30 p.m

11th March 2014 :

• Today was our Pilot episode preview
• The head director of TV Program - Puan Zalinar, our head of Community Unit - Puan Sumariah and mentor Aunty Rodziah previewed the video and they liked and approved the pilot episode
• Was asked to continue on for the 2nd Episode as soon as possible. However, during the preview,  Puan Zalinar wanted slight changes on the music choices and also the 'distant' voice over\
• Made phone calls with people that are needed for program episodes in the Tutong district

12th March 2014 : 

• Went to KMAS production house to make changes on the pilot episode
• Sat with Panji to discuss on changes to be made
• In the afternoon, went to RTB Bandar to observe and help on how to fax for MAJLIS MESYUARAT NEGARA with Helmi and Hanis (from Entertainment Unit) and Aqilah

13th March 2014 : 

• Went out to Tutong to recce Tamu Tutong at Kg Serambangun
• Drove with my 2 other colleagues
• Checked the place out to find out what was there - food, clothes, plants and flowers, antiques, etc
• Talked with few of the vendors to find out the routines of the tamu and gave them the heads up for those we are interested in interviewing for an episode in Tutong
• Had some of their contact numbers

15th March 2014 : 

• Went to UBD to settle some papers, get transcription for future reference
• Stayed at the office for the rest of the day to settle some vouchers for episodes

WEEK 7

3rd March 2014 : 

• Went to Kmas Production house with Bibi and Farah for another voice over
• Video editing with Panji who is a video editor, found out my group and I were short of required duration per episode by 13 minutes. So to lengthen the episode - the only solution was to 1) add more voice over. For the voice over, we decided to add more informations toward the contents in the script. We explained and described the contents in detailed. (It was on animals, plants and brief history on Agro Tech park as well as its future plans) 2) We planned to add more time for the interview segment. 3) Add more inserts

4th March 2014 :

• Continued filming due to short of required per episode duration (supposedly 30 mins give or take)
• Arrived at Agro Park with the crew members
• Since it was a last minute plan which was planned the day before, our solution for supporting characters turned out to be our own colleagues who were free at that time from Universiti Brunei Darussalam as that was the fastest way to get people to be interviewed in the video
• We also had the crew members themselves to pretend to be 'actors' in the video because we were short of people at the park at the time we were there. This was also used in insert footages.

5th March 2014 :

• My group and I sat by the video editor - Panji while he edits the video

6th March 2014 :

• At the office RTB Sg Akar

8th March 2014 :

• Arrived at the office.
• Did the MAJLIS MESYUARAT NEGARA / LegCo transcription 
• The task for today was to transcribe everything that was said on tv live, for editing process after. Started by 10 a.m til 4.30 a.m

• Accompanied Farah for the pilot episode voice over
• Meeting with Panji and Fendi for the video editing and also opening montage ideas

• Set a meeting with Panji up for video editing and discussion on Saturday, 2nd March '14

Comments: On the first week of the internship, my group mates and I were already drowned with paper works. We had to brainstorm ideas on what we wanted to do for our program, what exactly was the genre of the, the aims and objectives of the program and why we chose to do travelogue. We did the 'proposal' paperwork including the overall budget calculation for the whole episodes.
